A content management system (CMS) in its raw form is updating content on a website via a backend administration section. In a not so raw form it can include many other things such as: providing certain users to special areas or retrieving reports generated by an server-side application. A content management system is really a management system tailored to your needs.

Any website can be converted to utilize a CMS in a cost effective manner and in a relatively short time. Not all websites should be.

We don't believe in developing a management system just to have one. They are nice and useful, but if they don't save you money or time then they are useless.

When looking at implementing a CMS for a website we first look at your process. What items can be managed; and what items should be managed? There is a big difference. Every page of a website can be managed, but why? How often does your contact page change, your about us page or your driving directions. We target areas that have a high frequency updates and cost associated with making those updates.

Placing selected areas into a management system will save you time and money on the monthly updates you used to pay your webmaster. Plus you have the convenience and ease of simple updates you can do yourself.
